A long day indeed~

started my day off with something quite productive... which is doing accounts assignment in the foyer with my friends just before noon... well, i had a lil' trouble waking up... so was slightly late to meet up with them...

wow... time really flies when you're having fun... it seems that we just sat there a while... but when we checked our watch, it was already 2pm... decided to go Pyramid for movie & makan -> packed up -> head back to hostel to keep stuff/change -> off to pyramid!

so we arrived around 3.30pm cause we missed the 2.30pm bus by a few minutes... went straight up to the cinema to buy tickets for Expendables... its definitely a good movie if you can stand the violence & gore... loved the effects and the way they kill their enemies... AWESOME!!!

since we had our lunch at 3.45pm, we weren't hungry when our movie ended... so window shop abit before deciding to have dinner at Nando's... OMFG! when we got there, it was FULL... why??? because its time for people to "BUKA PUASA!" ended up, we have to slack again... only managed to get a table around 8pm...

after a nice meal, head over to Club.9.... gosh... its been some time since we went there to play pool... ahhhh~ its just so fun.... once again... LOVE the music & ambiance! WOOTs~ after 3hrs+ of pool-ing, left and wanted to find a place to "yum cha"... instead of the usual mamak, we want a lil' change...

went to a place called "Thirty-Two"... its a good place for friends to just hang out & chat... cause its not packed at all... had fun playing Truth or Dare... EPIC Moment~sherene was dared to do a sexy cat-walk around the bar... but even before she started, she already FALL! LMAO~
Kudos to everyone for being sporting... did all the Dares given to them and well... telling the Truth to questions thrown to them as well... *claps*

really had lots of fun today... we should do this again soon....

Should i??? *dilemma*

hmmm... everything is well..... fine till i received a sms asking if i'm interested in joining the Treasurer's position in MUSA... so now, i'm stuck with a 50:50 decision... part of me is asking me to say "YES" while another part of me is telling me "NO"... so which should i listen???

the reason it isn't that simple is because you don't just get the post when u apply for it... there is a lil' politics involved... besides, this is just my 1st semester over in Monash (just a freakin' NEWBIE!) and i'm inexperience in this field... afraid i might just mess things up... >_<

although its not a one man job, but there are still responsibilities... if i really agreed to be the 2nd candidate for the treasurer group, i must start on campaigns to gain votes... its simple, cause we need votes to win during an election right? i must admit i'm not a very sociable person in front of strangers... its gonna be tough for me to get support...

but before any decision can be made, i shall find out more info bout the team of people i'll be working with & who are they... what stuff must i do now and later on... @_@

Still I need advise & opinions!!! should i just give it a try??? or should i just reject it & be a sub-com in other departments???

Feeling the pressure yet??

its officially week.5 of my uni life... it seems that what they said bout Monash is a mean killing machine is true... >_< week by week, it kills you... slowly & silently~~~~

having weekly marketing assignment is already a pain in the ass... now it gets even worst as the question are getting tougher & tougher... adding to it, there is a Biz Stats online quiz this week & Accounting & finance assignment that is due on Sept.1... oh ya... almost forget, Marketing test on Sept.2... Econs test a few weeks later... Geeez.... I'm gonna run out of brain juice really soon...

well... to 'chillax' a bit... went for a movie on Monday with my fellow housemates: WY & Stephy...
it was really a great day out for us (WY & I) after rushing to complete marketing assignment the day before... after that its time for some SERIOUS BUSINESS! well.... maybe except weekends, a lil' moment for me to chill & hang out with friends.. ^_^ thanks to WY, i think she successfully convinced me to start on my work/studies... (i'll do my best :p)

Time flies~

its Thursday.. just finish my last class for week4... felt like it was just a while ago we were attending our orientation in Monash... now we already been through 4weeks of our 13weeks semester... >_< here are some highlights of the week for my bloggie~~~
Sunday was busy rushing my Marketing assignment with my beloved hsemate WY... started doing at 7pm and finished around 4.30am... cool huh? at 1st, the question seemed easy... but when we got started... it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be... what's worst? its an individual assignment... WTH!!!

Monday... by d time i finish my assignment, it was already 4.30am.. wash up and check out WY wif her assignment awhile then off to bed arnd 5am... here's a shit thing... had 8am lecture in the morning... so gotta wake up at 7am... which means i only slept for 2hrs.... freakin' awesome right?
another cool stuff... WY just finished her assignment when i woke up.. cz she started 2hrs later then me, so finish 2hrs later... LOL... surprisingly, i was far more awake in lecture than i usually am... i wasn't even tired in the afternoon... until 2.30am that night... i am still very energized...
call me whatever you want... but i feel good~ ^_^

Tuesday... another boring day with lectures & tutorials... bla bla bla~ 6pm.. head over to Pyramid with Sherene & Jin Hern after lecture... a normal grocery shopping visit to Pyramid turned out to be a shopping spree (not really, but did buy something & window shop)... our Puma freak (J.hern) bought a pair of Puma shoes... but i gotta say it was worth it... thanks to the 70% discount... after that checked out a few more stores then we had dinner... really had fun especially during the grocery shopping with Sherene...
Wednesday~ morning accounting finance lecture... BORING~~~ later in the afternoon Econs tutorial, hmmm.... not too bad... =) in between slacked in the library... that was FUN!

Thursday~ had B'fast with WY before walking to uni... acct finance tutorials was funny as usual... cause of the tutor.. sadly, this will be the last week she's teaching us... there seems to be a change in tutors due to timetable changes... =( Marketing is interesting as always.. but today battery seems to be rather low... got rather sleepy towards the end of the lecture.. >_<

Biz Stats assignment is due 2mrw... have a lil' bit to do then i'm done... i have no idea what to write for this week's Marketing assignment... HELP ME!!!

Movie Review 2

The Sorcerer's Apprentice (✯✯✯✯)
watched it on Friday.. its a fantasy action film... yet another Disney film so you know it won't be anything too violent for children to view... definitely a family movie with action & humor...

the film's 111min run-time will take you through the adventure of Balthazar Blake (Nicholas Cage) 1 of Merlin's 3 trusted apprentice, searching the Prime Merlinean & train him so that he can help defeat Merlin's greatest enemey, Morgana (Alice Krige)... Merlin was killed by Morgana as his 3rd apprentice, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina) betrayed him... hence, Balthazar have been searching in vain for centuries...

so after Balthazar found the Prime Merlinean, Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) he has to convince him to learn magic... there was a fight scene with Sun-Lok in Chinatown after they have located the Grimhold as Hovarth had just released the sorcerer from the 3rd layer... during the fight, Dave cast his 1st spell...

then, Dave agreed to hone his skills preparing him to face the evil Morgana... he became Balthazar's apprentice. in the mean time, he met his high school crush, Becky & tries to win her heart again... at some point when Dave screwed up in 1 of his spells, he wanted to give up... but was motivated by Becky...

then its back to protecting the Grimhold & searching for it again when it is taken away by Hovarth... Finally when Morgana was released, there was the main fight scene... Balthazar absorbs Morganas soul to save Veronica, but Morgana come out in spirit form, killing Balthazar in the process... Dave was finally able to cast spells without the ring... so he finally defeats Morgana then restarts Balthazar's heart...

overall, its a predictable movie with happy endings... though there were also several impressive scenes such as : the Bronze Charging Bull fight scene in front of Wall Street, the use of the Giant Iron Eagle that was actually a statue on 1 of NYC's famous building... as for the magics, it reminds you of Harry Potter though its not that impressive compared to it.. i can say its a fantasy film worth watching to just relax yourself... ☺

Had FUN!!!

planning to watch The Last Airbender at 1st turned to watching Sorcerer's Apprentice instead... you might think that movie has already been released for so long... Yes i may be slightly late, but sadly, i'm just gonna watch it now... might not plan on watching Airbender since viewers rating are kinda sucky... only manage 4.5/10✯'s...

so head over to Pyramid with Christine & Sherene around 5pm... when we walked out, the bus just left... decided to take a cab instead... man seriously, F*** that fella... we were just confirming the price and he was like :"if u already know the price, why still wanna ask??" =,= so pissed!

while we were lining up for movie tickets, HengKy arrived... so did a little shopping at Cotton-On then its time for the movie... WEEE~ was a good movie... kinda hilarious at times and the effects were nice...

after that, we had dinner at Nando's... well, Sushi Zanmai was our 1st choice, but there was a huge line to get a table... that's how we ended up going to Nando's...

While we were waiting & then the food came!!!

later we think for a place to 'lepak' because it was still early so wanna just hang out for a bit before going back... so we decided to go play pool... well... we're not pros just go there for the fun of playing.... hehe

well, all pool table were occupied when we got there.... so have to sit there and chit-chat for awhile before we got a table....
so we sat at the lounge area... its definitely a nice place to just hang out with friends... we didn't order anything cause we just had our dinner... played for bout 1 & half hours before leaving... enjoyed playing together cause it is filled with lots of fun & laughter...

tonight, we decided not to yum cha after pool cause we did not want to walk back as there are only 4 of us... so to avoid paying extra 50% for taxi fare, we headed home after our pool session... hope u guys enjoy our day out today cause i did... ^_^

Enjoyed Econs lecture today?!?!?

had class from morning till 6pm today... last class was Econs lecture...

was surprise when we saw it was our tutor who walked into the lecture auditorium... turns out our lecturer was absent... surprisingly, today's lecture wasn't as boring as what we expect... wow... our tutor should be our lecturer for Econs lecture... i mean he is good not only knowledge wise, but the way he teach was amazing... he was able to make the chapter interesting and understandable while making occasional jokes... unlike our usual lecturer that is so monotonous... literally like someone singing a lullaby to put you to sleep.... >_<

in fact, due to a change of lecturer today, Sherene & Sock Teng were sort of 'high'... (joking... so dun be too shocked)... they were admiring him like mad... whenever he asks if we understand, they'll reply... "yes darling =p"... when class ended, they even gave him a flying kiss before leaving the auditorium... totally epic today... talk bout stalking, Sherene went to the extremes of checking out his body build while he was teaching... LOL

today's Econs lecture was seriously fantastic... after the lecture, everyone gave him a round of applause.... honestly, i think he really deserved it... *CLAPS*

Insane day in Uni, spend BIG after that ~_~

only had 1 class today which is Biz Stats lecture... man.. have to try really hard to pay attention because Biz Stats is just so B-O-R-I-N-G~~~~ since its such a dry subject, i wonder which smart-ass auto allocate the lecture so freaking early in the morning... so, my only class of the day starts at 8am!!!

today wasn't the usual Monday where we attend lecture then head back to hostel after that... there were TWO assignments due today... i've finished Econs assignment but have yet to start on my Marketing assignment... after Stats lecture, we head over to the library to start on it... gosh... the library was so packed that every computer and printing machines were full...

we had to turn on 'express mode' to do our marketing assignment... finally we manage to finish it by 1pm (which is the deadline). it was so tense as i had 2 more concepts to crap about and i have bout half & hour left... when i finished writing... is like i could finally breath again.... *inhale~exhale*

after submitting the assignment, i head over to Pyramid with LuLu... guess what, after lunch i had the urge to get a backpack after talking bout it for so long... so checked out a few shops before finally deciding to go back to Nike... lucky i had the Sunway Pyramid Privilege card, so i got a 10% discount... now i have a backpack.... WEEEE~ ^_^v

PISSED yet FANTASTIC night!

its 31-July 2010, you guys know what's up??? Its the MTV WORLD STAGE!!!!
this is the 2nd time this event was held in M'sia... i'm lucky to have attended the world stage for both 2009 & 2010.... hahahahhahaha (^_^)v

so there are less artist this year.. only 4 which is Tokio Hotel, Katy Perry, Wonder Girls & our local act, Bunkface... usually, our local acts will get the honours to the opening performance... that's why we (me & WY) decided to go like an hour late... that way, we can rest a lil' bit and also avoid the 'human traffic' to enter....

guess we were wrong, when we reached around 7pm, we had to Q till the far end of the open air carpark... took us an hour to enter the surf beach... when we reached the event area, Wonder Girls just came on to perform their first song... so we didn't missed their other songs such as "Tell Me" & their famous "Nobody"...

after their performance, the rain started again then there were some technical difficulties.... damn it... that long wait really pissed us off... such bad management... thankfully, it was raining so it isn't hot... or else i think people won't be that patient with their 'boiling points' rising fast... =)

during the wait, WY notice that a group of Russian guys were standing beside us and she said 1 of them is kinda HOT... haha... then she saw them moving close to us... so she sort'ta curi2 took a snapshot.. LOL
after a Eff-ing long time waiting for the so-called technical difficulties to be fixed, Tokio Hotel finally came on!! WOOOOOTS~

they totally brought the house down..... so fucking awesome!!!

after that it was back to the pissed up moment for bout 15-30min wait before it was Katy Perry's turn to perform... damn it.. i hate this year's management skills...

overall, there were great performance by Tokio Hotel & Katy Perry... these 2 performance managed to make the night awesome in the end... *Peace Out*
