Last day of October!

hmmm... hadn't been studying as planned... but did covered a few chapters...

lets talk bout saturday.... got up around 1pm, did laundry & cooked myself lunch... studied a lil' bit then head over to uni to meet up with "The Crazy Gang!" went to grab dinner before entering for our 9pm movie... its final exam period yet we're going for movies... WOOOTs... call us crazy cause we ARE crazy... haha

so after movie, the mall was already closed.... so we fooled around inside there... hate it when the security guards come over to check on us... he thinks we are trying to vandalize something.... LOL... com'on, we're good kids kay?? we won't do any vandalizing... :p

after a long time planning on what to do next, we finally decided to go 'yum cha'... played truth or dare... but turns out it was all dares instead of an option to choose between either one... so who cares... as long as we enjoyed it... got back just in time before the 3am curfew... overall,.. it was an awesome night out with the gang...

trust me... this won't be our last time out.... after exams... we'll do this again... this time.. with a lil' surprise in it... BE PREPARED!

Forget the past, focus on the upcoming stuff!

the long feared Marketing paper had passed... conclusion... it was really a hellish paper... so little time with so much to write... from the moment the invigilators announced that we can start writing, i started writing till they say times up... can you imagine that??? writing non-stop for 2hrs yet unable to finish the paper... WTH?!?!?

here's something to console myself... according to the seniors, it is very common for people to run out of time while sitting for Marketing & Management... so YAY! to me for at least being able to crap a bit for Section B... to my friends (Sherene, Christine, TengTeng, Hengky) who are taking Management this sem, good luck in crapping...

now all i can do is keep my fingers crossed for this subject and have a positive attitude to face my upcoming 3 papers... i have officially slacked the whole day today... MUST continue studying tomorrow... Accounting & Finance is next on 3Nov...

it doesn't matter if you're ready or not... its already the 28th of Oct... which means its time to sit for our Marketing finals in approximately 12hours time...

good luck in memorizing all the processes and points... even if we are able to memorize it, pray hard that we can manage to spill everything out in the right parts and not run out of time while doing that...

after this torturing 2hrs we can at least rest a lil' bit before continue to prepare for the following papers... so its DO or DIE!!!

OMG!!! its here!!!

its been some time since i last updated... kinda busy lately as exams are approaching... although i spent most of my time slacking... (+_+)

so this week, i'll be sitting for my 1st finals paper in Monash... nervous? scared? confident? all i can say is i have mixed feelings... part of me wishes to get through with this as soon as possible then i'll have my 3mth break... awesome right?? but another part of me just don't feel ready to sit for the exam...

things aren't the same as they were back when i was in MUFY... hmmm... it seems that MUFY had those topic tests weekly that actually prepares us for our finals, whereas in uni, you're literally on your own... its like being abandoned on an lifeless island with nothing but a survival kit and nothing else... you'll have to either find the strength to fight for your life or just wait till you rot...

exams are coming in a few days time, and from what i know, the lectures i've attended for the past 13weeks are just crap... well.... maybe except for Marketing since that is the best lecture among the other 3subjects i'm taking.... the 1st half of Accounts is OK, but as soon as we hit Management Acct, i see stars... Econs, i think i can still manage it thanks to both great lecturers we had in MUFY... i'm only afraid that i'll write the wrong stuff as econs is easy to study but not easy to perform in exams... Biz stats, that is another goner since the lectures will put you to sleep within 10min... so..... *~HALLELUJAH~!*

in order for me to get my eyes off 'it' and concentrate on a real book instead of a virtual book is to go to the library where my precious laptop is out of reach... as you know the hype of various social networks these days are like hidden mercenaries that kills us silently... we wouldn't even know we're the victims until all the chaos has been done... by that time, it would have been too late to salvage anything...

1st paper is on Thursday.... Marketing~ consists of 3 sections... section.A 40% gotta at least crap 4pages, Section.B 20% gotta at least crap 2pages, Section.C 40% choose 4 of 6, crap at least half page each... you think this is already hellish?? here's the "awesome" part, we only have 2hrs to crap all these.... OMFG!! hopefully i can remember as much info as possible within these 2 days or else i'm dead... 600+ pages to cover is no joke...

Crazy day with the "GG" peeps!

its Friday, 15th Oct... did not have class but we went to uni as well... reasons? to give Wai Seen a surprise birthday celebration... we met up around 12.30pm, class 6202...

i was a lil' late, turns out, Teng Teng was with me... so both of us were supposed to do a sexy dance or something to compensate for that. we had cake, and gave her the pressies... then here comes the fun part, all of a sudden, everyone started pasting the cream on each others faces... soon, all of our faces were smudged...

Epic moment: our cute little Sherene thought i was going to help her wipe off the cream on her face... ended up with more cream all over her face! i thought she saw my finger was "loaded" with cream, but she just let me help her "clean" off her face.. HAHAHAHHA....

so we had more fun & games which are all too scandalous to mention here... we even connected the classroom's speakers to our phone so we have good music playing in the background...
overall it was a crazy day celebrating Wai Seen's birthday... hope she likes it as much as we did....

Enjoying cocktails!

its been a week since i got back from Penang... so on friday, we hang out as usual for dinner, pool & supper... but this week was slightly different with us heading over to a bar/bistro after pool-ing...

its been some time since we went to such place... so kinda miss the taste of cocktails... so we ordered a couple of drinks...
here are a summary of cocktails we ordered and the comments on each of it...

Malibu Monsoon: the name itself is kinda tricky... since malibu seems like a nice place and monsoon is like a disaster... surprisingly its slightly sweet and its very soothing when you drink it... its basically a combination of rum, gin, cranberry & pineapple juice...

Brandy Alexander: the name sounds cool... but the presentation of the drink makes you think of coffee with whipped cream... it does taste a lil' bit like latte, but its due to the mixture of brandy, coconut liquor & some grated nutmeg... *mmmm* creamy & milky taste...

Kamikaze: the name has this killer sound to it... true enough, it does lived up to its name... this cocktail will keep u wide awake as soon as u taste it... the taste is so sour thanks to its awesome ingredients of vodka, Cointreau, lime juice & lime... so do you feel the sourness now?? haha

Apple Mojito: this is a very light cocktail... even its presentation gives you a light, cool, chilly feel... it consist of Bacardi apple rum, club soda, mint sprigs, spearmint leaves, lime & a lil' sugar... this cocktail will give you a cool touch down the throat with its sweet yet minty taste...

Sex on the Bar: in some places, it is also known as Sex on the Beach... this cocktail is one of the classics of fruity taste... the concoction contains a mixture of Vodka, peach schnapps, orange, cranberry & pineapple juice... despite the large combination of fruit juices, you can still taste the vodka...so you should be prepared for the amount of vodka in it, since regular vodka is about 40%...

Sea Breeze: the name already gives you a hint that its gonna be a smooth drink served with a rather attractive colour... mainly due to the colour from the grapefruit & cranberry... i assume this is a rather light cocktail apart from the apple mojito since you can hardly taste the vodka in it... the recipe for this cocktail is Vodka, cranberry & grapefruit juice...

guess thats all we ordered for the night... we shall try other cocktails when we get a chance again... (^o^)v

my bro just text me to tell me bout the confirmed release date of Cabal's latest patch... its on 21st Oct.... why???? why cant they release it on Nov... then i would be able to get my hands on all the changes... but now, it seems that i cant.. i only finish my exams on 10th of Nov... by the time i go back, i'm gonna be a blur noob... >_<

anyhow, i cant do anything but to just wait silently... hmm... the new map reminds me that i still need lots of money to upgrade my EQs... haiz... long way to go to collect enough money to change my Sword, Shoes, get a mith helm & my own bike!!!! RAWR!!!! (";..;")

Break ended TOO SOON!!!!

so here's the thing.. when its study time or having class, time seems to crawl by ever so slowly... but when it comes to holidays, it sort of flies like taking a rocket ship...L

Wednesday~ Wanted to go for a haircut.. saloon was closed on that day, so just went to Queensbay for dinner... had my dinner in TGI... yummy, finally got to taste the Margarita again... my last margarita was like ages ago... missed the taste... ;p

Thursday~ Vincent came back... i'm over at TE's hse, so could not meet him... at first i thought of picking him up from the bus station and have dinner, mum said she'll pick him up... so went dinner with Liz instead since she was around the area...

Friday~ TE cooked lunch, so brought lunch back... finally saw Vincent after 3mths... haha.... though only got to hang out for 2 days since i'm leaving again on Sunday... got my hair cut... Dinner @ The Ship that night... that was the best part... ate all sorts of stuff... a HUGE variety indeed.... Escargo, Fresh Oyster, Shark fin soup, Lobster, Steak, Lamb, Fish... damn full that night but enjoyable...

Saturday~ as what we will always do.. hang out with cousins... went out for the whole day to go on an eating spree... ate at 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm, 8pm and finally 11.30pm.... awesome day out with our tummies filled... oh ya... i bought a new pair of sport shoes for casual wear too... hehe...

Sunday~ woke up in the morning and time to leave d lil' island and head back to Sunway....

till then... i will see the lil' island again in Mid November... Chaoz~
